Mission and Vision
As a human who has the lived experience of a late-in-life diagnosed, Queer, Autistic Person of Color, I have been weathered and tempered by decades of oppression, passed through intense life chapters of anger, grief, and rebellion, and come out the other side recognizing that the best way to fight systems of oppression is to gather together and support one another in healing from the impact of oppression. At this time in our history, we need to lean upon the strength of the collective if we are to thrive as individuals, as humans, as people with a birthright to flourish in this world, a world which was built by and for non-Autistic people. To that end, I am committed to Kinship Collective’s mission and vision.
Mission: Promoting a culture of personal and professional growth, enrichment, and empowerment to reduce the impact of oppression for all.
Vision: To create a strong, healthy, safe, and thriving social community collective both locally and globally.
