Making Things Accessible
I know websites are a great marketing tool, however I want this website to be more than that. I want this website to be a clear representation of my life’s dedication to support Autistic adults by all means- through services, writing, advocacy, kinship, and my way of being. This website is not about monetizing a trend. It is about making long-overdue care for Autistic humans accessible to the greatest extent possible as much as it is about supporting my family and myself in this financially demanding culture. This is exactly why I have a comprehensive (and hopefully not confusing) tiered fee scale.
Right now, I see and feel my Autistic community experiencing grave challenges that make the task of thriving on this planet at this time seem overwhelming. Discrimination against disabled folks, called ‘Ableism’, is running rampant like an unchecked pandemic, and we need real, meaningful understanding, validation, and support just to survive. I’ve had a small collective of solid Autism-specific supports in my life over the last few years, allowing me to experience feeling deeply resourced, and I am grateful for this collective which allows me to show up for you right here and right now.
To that end, I aspire every day to show up with “pure motivation,” a practice my Buddhist teacher instilled in me, a practice which assists me in by-passing the pitfalls of ego, seeing people for the gift of humanity that they are, and being of service not just to myself, but to others, to the greatest extent that I can.
My hope is that you find something in this website that supports and inspires you. If the information in this website seems overwhelming or unclear and you identify as Autistic, you are invited to reach out to me directly to ask for clarification on any of my services in a one-to-one, 15-min, free meet-and-greet.
